Christen
Dental Assistant
Christen has been making children feel comfortable and teaching them the importance of dental hygiene since joining our team in 2013. She knows she’s been successful when our young patients leave happy and ready to come back!
Christen enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and little Yorkie, Winston. She also loves working out and anything that involves the water or the beach.
Kim
Appointment Coordinator/Dental Assistant
Kim has been with our practice since 1999. She attended Thomas Nelson Community College and received X-ray certification from Old Dominion University. Her favorite part of her job is working with the kids: helping to ease their fears and watching them leave happy.
Kim has two amazing children, Nicholas and Makenzie. They keep her busy with their activities, but she finds the time to play softball for her church. Outside of sports, Kim loves spending time with her family and friends, and being involved with her church.
LaKisha
Dental Assistant
LaKisha has been a part of our team since 2008. She loves singing and making our patients laugh! Family is very important to her and that’s what she likes about working for Dr. Huie: She treats each patient like they’re family. LaKisha loves working with Dr. Huie and our team to give patients a wonderful new smile.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and having fun with family and friends.
Lisa
Insurance Coordinator
Lisa has been with our practice since 1998. She graduated with a certificate in dental assisting and also attended Christopher Newport University. She plays a big role in making it enjoyable for kids to come to the dentist.
Lisa spends her free time with her husband John, watching her kids Coty and Gabe play sports. She also enjoys reading and going to the movies.
